It'll be eight years this November that my husband left me to "wait" for him while he left to serve a mission for the LDS church. It wasn't until after we were married that I was able to make it through the month of November without stomach ache reminders of how sad it was...
Taking these pictures brought back so many memories for me. This soon to be Elder will leave in November for the the MTC to train to serve in Finland. He was such a good sport and his cute girlfriend was there with him...I'm excited for both of them! It doesn't seem like it at the time but it really will be a great memory in the future. Good luck to both of you! I hope your happy with your pictures!

Love these Ash, you did a great job! The last edit is my fav.
Nice job! Personally, i like the first edit of the two. the last one is too much like a "death". i like the truer colors in it. brings more hope and optimism to the tough (and exciting) time ahead. - says the girl that married her missionary. ;)
These are really nice Ashlee...love the way you've been able to catch the missionaries' Spirit. I love fall colors so I think the first is my fav. Great shot!
I'm a fan of the less vibrant edit. They both work, but I look twice at the second try. It makes more sense to me somehow.
